When a zinc lined coffin is used for the repatriation of the deceased, is the coffin a bigger size than would?
normally be used? Would it be wider?

- No reason it should be. The zinc lining is very thin.
- I think the zinc and the magnesium metals in the casket act the prevent corrosion or rust from destroying it so fast, opposite metals prevent some kind of electrical current that slows the rusting process, Casket is what most people are buried in, It comes from the french word Cachet a 4 sided nice box to put you valuables in, A coffin has 6 or more sides to it and was used in the old west and in Europe around the same time and is usually made of wood which doesn't rust. Zinc is also a anti.bacteria metal, it helps to stop mold and fungus from growing. Roofer apply it along the upper part of a roof under the shingles mainly on the north side of a house to stop that Black stuff from running down the roof.
