It's becoming more apparent that Brown was behind the repatriation of the Lybian bomber?

Just heard this on the news as I was driving home, where it stated this to be fact. Over a period of time, I've become very aware of this governments handy work and this had the hallmark of Brown & Co written all over it.

Public Comments

  1. he was released for an oil deal with Libya and why else would Brown care were he died
  2. No, Obama approved the release, maybe even suggested it. Remember he's in charge, not Brown. My question is why does the UK take the bad guy libel for the US?
  3. Bombing a 747 full of Americans is not the way to improve the standard of living in Britain. Thirty pieces of silver isn't going to buy much anyway. The British should work together with America and other Western democracies to defend freedoms, capitalism, and the pursuit of happiness.
  4. Does it really matter as it was stated that he now only has days left to live At least Scotland will be spared the expense of his funeral . This is what this man looks like now
  5. You might very well think so - I couldn't possibly comment.
  6. dont be silly!! president obama was disgusted about the bombers release, considering most of the passengers who died were american. he said so on tv etc. brown buggered off on holiday and refused to comment as did jack straw, but all did a u-turn when silly gadaffis son admitted UK was involved a couple of years ago in an oil treaty with libya in trade for his release. the UK just asked libya to keep the bomber prisoners name out of it. lo and behold jack straw admits some form of involvement, and he couldnt have done it without browns say so. famous saying ' this is another fine mess u got me into' stan laurel. more likely bloody brown lol
  7. Brown is behind all the lies ,deceit and corruption but always stays quiet or does a runner. The coward !
  8. Once Brown denies something, you know it is true!
  9. So what! the poor guy is innocent, such a shame he has to be dying to get some justice.
  10. I dare say that there will always be some who doubt everything. I think there is a world of difference between Brown supporting a decision to release al-Megrahi and being responsible for it. Saying that, Labour in Scotland are behaving like total hypocrites. They are exploiting the result of due process to try to score damage against the SNP. Their objections look somewhat ridiculous, given their leaders support for the decision. Andrew S needs to remember the British soldiers that have been fighting side by side with Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. His comments are rather inflammatory and imply that the UK is somehow responsible for the bombing of PanAm 103. They also show casual disregard to the Scottish lives lost at Lockerbie. I hope that he realises that his head should be hanging in shame right now.
  11. What I find annoying is the constant need for duplicitous behaviour from this plotting scheming rabble called a government. Firstly, when word got out that Al-Megrahi was being released it was 'a completely Scottish Assembly affair and nothing to do wtih Whitehall' Now, it transpires, between Brown, Milliband and Straw, it was a 'shock horror!' politically motivated move. They didnt watnt the death of this man on their watch for whatever reasons. So what is it? Is Scotland independent enough of Whitehall to make such large decisions like this or not? Are Brown, Milliband and Straw as gutless as they appear to be by hiding beihind the Scots minister who announced the release or were they being advised to keep a low profile? Either way, Gordon Brown looks like an incompetent. Again..
