whats the christian view on the repatriation of al megrahi back to libya?

Public Comments

  1. they love it -- after all its all about money which they know a lot about. However the bible may have preferred he be stoned to death but luckily most people have never read the bible and don't know it.
  2. good. because he was innocent and only convicted because of politics in the first place.. but that's another rant for another time.
  3. Compassion and forgiveness are central to Christianity. People have always thrown these things back in the faces of those who practise them.
  4. Provided that he measures were taken to ensure that he was no longer a threat and in consideration of him being terminally ill, forgiveness and compassion were the Christian way to act.
  5. I'll tell you what it should be - then see what. St. Matthew 7 v 1. Judge not, that ye be judged. VERSE 2. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: so be very sure. The "WHY" is the imperative point.
  6. I am no better than him. I have sinned against God and desperately need my Savior Jesus Christ. Judgment belongs to God, not me.
  7. The harline Christians are raging about it like some Old Testament prophets (an eye for an eye...), I suspect elsewhere though many would consider it a the compassionate thing to do, after all Christianity is meant to be based of forgiveness.
