i have a college assignment due in monday & im completely stuck: public service how diversity has devolped?

I need to show how Diversity has developed over time using 15 key dates that are important and why. Historical perspective since 1800 & society's attitudes eg religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender & media representation.... i am completely stuck and don't even know where to start. Any help at all would be completely appreciated.. thank you! x

1. to approach this question you should consider the following: who have been the main actors in the development of diversity? (e.g. the public / the media / the courts / the legislature) what have each of these actors done to further the development of diversity? (e.g. public demonstrations / films, music etc. / court rulings / new laws) why are each of these actions important? introduction - set out what needs to be done to answer the question. body of your essay - find the key actions/dates and explain how it was important in terms of furthering diversity. to find them you need to read background info on each of the classic 'diversity' issues such as feminism, sexuality, race, religion. if you are short on time don't try to read to much material, just find the key actions and try to argue how they were significant. conclusion - you might conclude by choosing one of these dates as the most significant and explaining why it is the most significant (did one action pave the way to society's acceptance of the others?). good luck!
