Have you ever felt discriminated against because of age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or race? ?

I have an assignment in my Human Development class and need opinions from people who are different from me in one aspect of human diversity, ie. age, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability, ethnicity, class, or geographical location. The assignment asks the following questions and is totally anonymous. 1. Describe one situation where this aspect of diversity affected your life in some way, either negatively or positively. 2. Discuss whether you have ever felt discriminated against or treated differently on the basis of this difference, how you felt and how you reacted. 3. Are there any policies in place that have affected you in some direct way? How might these policies be changed? Any input would be appreciated!
